Špancirfest Varaždin

Špancirfest is an international street music Festival which exists since 1999. The Festival take place in the city of Varaždin (Croatia) in every summer since then and normally lasts for 10 days.
The Festival itself is a conglomeration of a lot of small independent festivals in the City of Varaždin. There are Festivals for Children, Classic Music events, Jazz concerts and also modern rhythm based events like Rock, Hip-Hop, Reggae and Blues concerts.
In 2003 the Festival wins the »Eventum Award« in the category "The best city event and the best in street decoration"
In the year 2004 round about 1000 Artists from 11 countries are part of the Špancirfest at Varaždin. The organizers count more than 100.000 visitors from home and abroad.
