Berlinale Emfang mit russischer Livemusik
The Company
EEAP Eastern European Acquisition Pool GmbH was founded on 11 February 2003, on the initiative of Alexander van Dülmen, as a film and license trading company for Central and Eastern Europe. Currently EEAP is a 100% subsidiary of A Company Licensing & Consulting AG.
The company name describes the aim of the undertaking: to pool the acquisition and sale of film licenses for the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
EEAP acquires, mostly in the USA, the rights to films for all countries of Central and Eastern Europe and markets these through its shareholders and cooperation partners as well as other licensees.
EEAP is an important player in the field of licensing for Central and Eastern Europe. By summer 2008 EEAP has acquired a total of 215 high-quality, theatrical titles. EEAP buys rights internationally from reliable and successful independent producers and distributors.

APPARATSCHIK - Taiga Tunes & Soviet Grooves
Die Musikband APPARATSCHIK aus Berlin spielt die Livemusik zum Berlinale Empfang des EEAP (EEAP - Eastern European Acquisition Pool) im Restaurant Theodor Tucher direkt am Brandenburger Tor. Der Empfang des, auf Film- und den Lizenzhandel im Bereich Zentral- und Osteuropa spezialisierten, Unternehmens wird zu einem Gala-Event mit facettenreichem Livemusikprogramm. Die Vollblut-Musiker der deutsch-russischen Formation werden den geladenen Gästen beinahe die gesamte Bandbreite ihres musikalischen Könnens präsentieren. In unterschiedlicher personeller Konstellation wird dem Publikum ein Programm aus traditioneller russischer Folklore, instrumentalem Jazz und nicht zuletzt russischer Tanzmusik geboten. Die deutsch-russische Band aus Berlin wird somit, von traditioneller russischer Folklore über Intrumental Jazz bis zu ihren üblichen Sets aus Folk-Rock, Polka, Ska, Reggae und Disko, kaum ein musiklaisches Genre auslassen.
